It is a lower-impact alternative to Carrefour, which operates franchise supermarkets in Israel without clear settlement labelling policies.

German discount supermarket chain (two separately owned groups: Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd). Aldi has no Israeli franchise stores and has committed to country of origin labelling. It is a practical alternative to Carrefour, which runs franchise supermarkets in Israel.
